The “LDAP/AD” synchronization allows email addresses and groups to be automatically added to their filtering lists. (This is simply an addition that enables the email address to have filtering lists.)
Go to the administration console under Configuration > Lists (blacklist or whitelist) to view an overview of the information retrieved after synchronization.
Quarantine Subscription
By checking the “Quarantine subscription” option, you agree to subscribe users to their quarantine reports.
You can then find all addresses subscribed to quarantine reports from the administration console under Configuration > Quarantine Subscription.
By default:
A report is sent every day at 4:00 AM for all emails classified as “Spam, Non-compliant, Size, and Content” (this can later be customized through the administration console).
Deletion
Check the “Deletion” box in “LDAP/AD Configuration” to remove addresses already present in the administration console.
(This means you accept the deletion of items not defined in your directory.)
Deletion affects quarantine lists and individual lists.
Percentage Threshold Bar
Example:
You currently have 50 mailboxes still visible in the administration console, and modifications have been made in your directory resulting in the deletion of 15 mailboxes.
You can therefore define a deletion action threshold to prevent accidental deletions.
If the deletion rate exceeds what actually exists in your directory, no action will be performed.
Note:
Be careful, this step cannot be undone and may result in data loss.
